STORYMAN ENGRAVED – An image of the Pixar storyman Joe Ranft, who lent his story and vocal talents to multiple Disney*Pixar films, from “Toy Story” to “Cars,” appears on a carved box in the home of the Witch, the eccentric crone and woodcarver.

MEET ME IN ACXIII – The number A113, which refers to John Lasseter, Brad Bird, Pete Docter and Andrew Stanton’s former classroom at CalArts, and makes an appearance in every Disney*Pixar film. “Brave” is no exception! Through the figure that appears above the entrance to the Witch’s cottage, the number is carved in Roman numerals.
