Our family was visiting the Magic Kingdom in December to see the beautiful holiday decorations. We had been to Disney many times but never during the holidays. They were taping the Christmas Parade the day we visited the Magic Kingdom so Main Street was very busy. We decided to take the train around to the other side of the park. As we boarded the train the only seats available were in the last row of the last car with only enough room for 3 of us. My son who was 12 said “I’ll sit back here.” It was the conductor’s flip down chair! I told him if a cast member came he would have to squeeze in with us. Well, Sam the Conductor arrived and instead of asking my son to move, he asked his name and announced he would be our conductor for the trip around the Magic Kingdom. He coached my son through all the announcements and he had the biggest smile on his face. We took their picture together and he still has that photo in his room.
Disney Magic at its finest!
