The Insider recently spent an afternoon at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where we got a chance to chat with the creators of the recent Mickey Mouse short film, Get a Horse!. As part of our interview, we sat down with director Lauren MacMullen, producer Dorothy McKim, 2D animation supervisor Eric Goldberg, and 3D animation supervisor Adam Green. We also got a look at some of the concept art behind the film, including the original image that sold John Lasseter on the idea long before it became the Oscar-nominated film that it is today.
