On this day in 1901, Walter Elias Disney was born. To celebrate the anniversary of that day, we want to share some of the guidance and inspiration that Walt Disney offered to us during his lifetime.

His birthday needs to be a national holiday. He has made more people happy than anyone else I can think of and more civerse people live in peace when they are at one of the parks than anywhere else on earth

Happy Birthday Walt. Thank you so much for the wonderful cartoons you gave us, and thank you for your legacy of working to make your dream, as well as our dreams, come true. I'm not very pleased with most of the things your company has done in the past few years, and I don't think you would be either, but I believe in the world you created for me and countless other men, women, and children for so many generations. You and those who followed you took us to places in our imaginations we never thought we could before, and you gave us some of the greatest memories of our lives. May God bless your memory sir, and may you rest in peace.

I also share the same birthday as Walt Disney, and believe the pretty much the same way he did. If you can dream it you can make it a reality. The word can't does not fit in my vocabulary. I've been taking my sons to Disney World and Disneyland every two years since they were born and now one is 29 and the other is 22, before that my wife and I use to go there. His ideas make me believe in the good in people and to make them happy.
