Before we can enjoy the final product, the animators at Walt Disney Animation Studios spend years perfecting the look and feel of their films.  Part of the reason we love Frozen is the beautiful scenery—the snow looks amazingly real and the costumes are incredibly detailed. One of our favorite books, “The Art of Frozen,” highlights the visual development and concept art from the film. We’ve chosen a few of our favorite images from the book to share with you. These feature the work of Bill Schwab, Brittney Lee, Claire Keane, Cory Loftis, David Womersley, James Finch, Jean Gilmore, Jim Finn, Mac George, Shiyoon Kim, W. Park, Jean-Cristophe Poulain, and more. Take a look at a few examples of the early art that shaped Frozen:

We’re sure you’re now wondering where you can see more of this wonderful art. “The Art of Frozen” is currently sold out online, but you can check your local Disney Store for availability.
