The Disney Archives just released an original sketch from 1938 featuring Mickey Mouse, his nemesis Pete, and a REALLY scary dentist’s chair (and who isn’t scared of the dentist?).
The drawing was created by artist Ferdinand Horvath as part of the development of a never-finished cartoon short, “Mickey’s Toothache.” The rediscovered artwork is slated to travel with D23′s Disney Fanniversary Celebration, visiting cities around the country March 1 – April 7, 2013.
It just goes to show that when it comes to the Disney legacy, there’s always more to discover. Who knows what else is tucked away, waiting to be seen?
This sketch is way too cold to be hidden away!
